In 1993, at the inception of PEMCCO, Inc., our first customers represented the Federal Government to whom we provided support in the form of technical documents for systems integration and business case development.  Relationships with these customers were built on our core values of loyalty, integrity, and commitment.  Later, as PEMCCO’s corporate capabilities increased, our relationships expanded outside of the Federal Government into state and local governments as well, thereby comprising our stated Government industry focus area.

In addition to government customers, we also provide services and support to the Transportation industry.  Our customers represent highway, transit and maritime agencies. Without fully realizing it at the time, in earlier 2000 our government experience afforded us a technology transfer opportunity.  We found that there was a practical and needed use of our IT/IM services on highway and transit projects.  We predicted that if we could design, implement, and management enterprise-wide complex communications systems for the military, we could effectively do the same for the highway and transit industry.  Our prediction was correct!  We began designing, implementing, and maintaining data and video network systems, or Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) for various highways systems and transit agencies.  Shortly afterwards, we received a request from a maritime industry customer seeking the use of these intelligent tools to optimize container terminal operations.  These tools proved to have a positive impact in the maritime industry as well.  We found that the transportation industry was well suited for the same or very similar strategy and implementation approach used to support our armed forces.  We found that our approach in many cases serve as a catalyst for the sharing of best practices cross industries in the process.

PEMCCO has provided and continues to provide services and support to the specific industry focus areas of government and transportation.  We work closely with all of our customers to ensure their goals are achieved.
