Established in 1983, KIS has provided quality IT products and services for over 22 years, with computer products, installation, maintenance, seat management, network design, training, and service level support through the infrastructure (operating system) level. KIS is a partner with Ingram Micro in the Venture Tech Network, with the Tech Data in the Tech Select Network, and with CDW-G as a minority small business partner. In our IT Services business, KIS is partnered with AMSEC LLC, SAIC, Northrop Grumman IT, and PEC Solutions as KIS business partners. Through these business relationships KIS has the ability to reach any scale in delivering information technology products and services to our customers.
With the KIS large business partners, KIS has structured a talented consortium of strategic leading edge small business, small disadvantaged business, veteran owned businesses and women owned business partnerships, that when viewed from a customers perspective, provide a large company capability, to offer our customers a complete solution to any IT architecture or infrastructure related situation. KIS and its small business partner network have the capability to present complete solutions to customer requirements.
Allied with our commercial partnerships, KIS provides service to government organizations as a Certified JWOD Partner, and through our partnership with regional affiliates of the National Industries for the Blind (Lighthouse for the Blind, Lions Club International, Virginia Industries of the Blind and others) and its Javits, Wagner, O'Day (JWOD) Program, provides market leading and exclusive computer products to Base Supply Stores on military installations across the United States. In Norfolk, KIS is part of the MANCON vendor team to provide computer technology products through the FISC-SuperServmart store for the Navy Fleet.
KIS provides IT Products and Seat Management services to large commercial organizations and has provided IT Products and Seat Management services to commercial and government organizations ranging from 200 to 2,000; KIS provides services to thousands of IT networks of many different varieties, our customer base ranges from small Peer-to-Peer networks to complex 200-2,000 stations LAN/WAN distributed heterogeneous configuration.

KIS manufactures high-end computing platforms, for use by investigative services, from police to intelligence services to specific requirements for the forensics law enforcement community.KIS Forensic Acquisition Computer Terminal™ (F.A.C.T.), F.A.C.T. is a tool for law enforcement, intelligence and security professionals to safely and effectively preview, acquire, recover, catalog, analyze and verify information from computers. For the military, KIS manufactures ship board monitoring systems and unique computer platforms capable of any level of simulation, from flight to fire control to battle staff operations.
